The Indiana Library Federation Marketing Division is currently seeking
officers to serve on the Marketing Division board. The purpose of the
Marketing Division is to stimulate the thinking of the membership by
providing a variety of opportunities to learn, share, and discuss the
application of marketing and planning principles in Indiana libraries. An
equally important charge will be to encourage Federation members to move
from learning to doing. The expectation will be that through the personal
and professional growth of members, the users of Indiana libraries will be
better served through dynamic and customer-focused library services.
The Marketing Division receives support from the ILF executive office. It is
entitled to space at the annual ILF conference, and may submit a budget for
conferences, publications, etc. Serving as an officer is a good way to get
acquainted with your fellow members while planning important programs and
activities dealing with marketing in Indiana libraries. For more
information about the ILF Marketing Division or serving as an officer on the
Marketing Division, please contact Chair, Genie Bishop at: (260) 421-1201,
genibis at hotmail.com or Linda Kolb, ILF Executive Director: (317) 257-2040,
lkolb at ilfonline.org.
