The conference committee is already hard at work on the 2008 ILF Annual
Conference. Attached is the 2008 Call for Programs. We hope you will
consider filling out one of the forms! 

As ILF President Carl Harvey states: "An often repeated comment on
conference evaluations is "We need more programs for my type of library."
The only way we get more programs is if more people take time to submit
proposals. The program committee works to select sessions that appeal to all
the demographics of the Federation. Last year for example, we selected
almost 90% of the proposals that were turned in. So, if there weren't enough
sessions that appealed to you, take the time now to turn a proposal,
encourage your friends and colleagues, or suggest a possible presenter to
the program committee. The ILF conference can be even better when we have
even more great sessions - but to get those sessions we need all of you to
volunteer to present a session in 2008!"

If you have any questions regarding the form please contact the ILF office,
the deadline to submit programs is Friday March, 21st.
