Note: The information requested on this form must be provided by Friday, March 21,2008 in order for the program committee to consider your program for the 2008 Conference.

3. Working Title of the Program: Guerilla Marketing: How to Promote Your Library with Almost No Money
4. Working Description of the Program: The program describes effective and inexpensive ways to promote libraries to patrons inside the library, as well as outside in the community. By creatively using materials already on hand, along with the Internet, libraries can to share their events, displays, meetings, and collections with the community.

A quick presentation of main ideas: displays, newsletters, community calendars, media releases, then discussion and questions. I will provide a handout for the attendees that has the same information plus resources.

16. Room Set-Up - Standard arrangement for session room set-up is theater style, with chairs in rows facing a speakers’ table with seating for six and a podium with a microphone, on table microphone and one lavaliere microphone.
17. Audio-Visual Needs - Each room will be equipped with a projection screen. Please anticipate any additional needs below:

*Please return a completed AV Request Form by the date indicated.
Computers or computer projection equipment cannot be provided by the Local Arrangements Committee. If needed or requested, it is up to the sponsoring unit to provide or pay for the rental and insurance for such equipment. Contact the Conference Local Arrangements chairs for details on any such request.
Internet Access - ILF will offer High Speed T1 Internet access. Programs requesting internet connections will be served on a first come, first served policy based on when the ILF office receives the completed Call for Programs. We still strongly urge you to place your files directly on your computer. Please note that the Local Arrangements Committee is NOT able to provide technical assistance with internet connectivity problems. q T1 Internet Access
