INCOLSA is pleased to offer the following workshop:

 

*Title:  Library Marketing That Works

 

*Date: Wednesday, June 18, 9:30am to 4:30pm

 

*Locations: INCOLSA Indianapolis; Porter County Public Library 

(Videoconference); Jackson County Public Library (Videoconference); and 

Nappanee Public Library (Videoconference)

 

*Description: This full-day workshop will provide information about 

tools for marketing your library using means like advocacy, programming, 

fundraising, partnering, public relations, community building, 

advertising, and much more. Activities will include brainstorming, 

worksheets and questions designed to get you thinking about your 

library's possibilities and problems. The activities will become a 

working document, to which your library can refer to solve problems, 

readdress issues, and evaluate progress.

 

*Presenter:  Suzanne Walters is president of her own consulting company, 

Walters & Associates, located in Denver, Colorado. She is the author of 

Library Marketing That Works! (Neal-Schuman Publishers, 2004); Customer 

Service: A How-To-Do-It Manual for Librarians (Neal-Schuman Publishers, 

1994), and Marketing: A How-To-Do-It Manual for Librarians (Neal-Schuman 

Publishers, 1992).
